Community Food Relief Guide

Working closely with community wellbeing social planner for community and organisations in Bass Coast Shire, part of a Gippsland Public Health organisation’s strategy.

Conceptualised as a mapping all of the locations where the community can receive food if they are in need. I explored different formats and platforms and discussed with the client. Community feedback suggested printed brochures to hand out to people at neighbourhood houses, community centres, libraries and other venues. The brochure was also available for view as a download on Council’s website. An accessible design. Flexible layout, including bespoke map, updated regularly through 2024.

First launched in World Homelessness Week in August 2024. Received as a great initiative. Design with purpose for those in need in the community.
